This concert promises to be a spectacular example of how tradition fuels innovation, and how the common musical ground between Africa and America has created a great legacy of new music in America. It is a truly extraordinary collaboration of forces: students, faculty, and master performers will blend World Music, vocal choruses, percussion ensembles and contemporary West African Dance.
