Rhythm Nomad

Support

So many cool things going on right now… Here’s how you can help it happen.

There was once an elegant, functional constellation of work settings and income streams that made it possible for me to do all the things I do… From festival concerts to international fair trade collaborations; from hands-on workshops and concerts in schools to music videos; from philanthropic partnerships to our legacy of work in Africa through our Senegal-America Project… For nearly forty years this was a sustainable, daredevil dance that worked pretty well. And it’s fair to say that no one is more amazed and grateful than I am that all this has been possible.

So, what now?

Now I’m looking to widen my support circle to pretty much all of planet earth. This isn’t only about creating the music; it’s about what the music can set in motion. We’ve done school programs for hundreds of thousands of students; we’ve created arts collaborations between schools and professional performers; we’ve created partnerships that delivered over 3500 mosquito nets and provided health care screenings to “at risk” communities in Africa… And best of all, we’ve made life-long friendships in our circle of performers and supporters that just keep the vibe and the evolution of all this going.

It’s all global citizenship to us, and you can help by purchasing individual songs or compilations, and by contributing what you can when you can. And oh yeah, you can help by showing up for live concerts…when we actually do that again.

I’ve already seen amazing things happen: From a $1 song purchase by a very young fan to a US Embassy Grant; from a $10,000 grant in support of our international fair-trade recordings, to a series of grants to do school residencies…

So from where I sit, everything is possible, and your help makes a huge difference.

I’m hoping that these projects and visions will just keep rolling and take you on a journey… that’s what it is for me. Your support is what makes these projects both possible and sustainable.
